Youth Leadership

Syon Srawan serves as the Co‑Founder and Youth Chapter Lead of BJBA. He leads youth‑focused initiatives, builds partnerships, and drives sponsorship outreach — creating meaningful platforms for young leaders to engage in cultural, educational, and social impact activities. Under his leadership, the Youth Chapter empowers the next generation to stay connected with their roots and become proud cultural ambassadors of Bihar and Jharkhand in Southern California.

  • Mobilizes youth for large‑scale BJBA events (Holi, Diwali, Chhath).
  • Designs volunteering & skill‑building tracks (event ops, media, logistics, seva).
  • Runs mentorship, internship, and college‑credit friendly service hours.

Perform folk songs, dance, emcee on stage, host quiz & games, and curate cultural exhibits at Holi, Diwali, and Chhath.

Who Can Join?

Open to middle school, high school, and college students in Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire. All are welcome — you don’t have to be Bihari/Jharkhandi to participate. Families and younger siblings can join as junior volunteers.

Parents & Mentors: Volunteer as advisors, guest speakers, and skill coaches.
